Discovering Apprenticeships Presentations

A series of informative sessions aimed at parents, carers, and young people, to provide insights into apprenticeships.

These presentations took place at the start of December 2024, at Leeds Beckett University Lecture Theatres, Rose Bowl Building.

audience

Designed to be engaging and informative, featuring presentations from different employers, providing a comprehensive view of the apprenticeship landscape.

Visitors were able to find out about what apprenticeships involve, how to apply, what employers are looking for and much more. There was also the opportunity to hear from current and former apprentices, who talked about their journeys and experience of gaining qualifications whilst earning.

This initiative is part of the Leeds City Council Employment & Skills Service's efforts to facilitate informed decision-making about future career paths for young individuals and their families.
