Employment & Skills Leeds teams delivered skill marketplace sessions as part of Lifelong Learning Week in November 2022. In collaboration with Leeds City College, information drop-in sessions for adults were available with a focus on enhancing digital skills. The sessions were part of Lifelong Learning Week, which is a celebration of continuous learning and encourages adult learners to develop new skills.
Skills information sessions took place at the following community hub locations:
- Tues 8 November @ The Compton Centre Community Hub, LS9 7BG
- Wed 9 November @ Seacroft Community Hub, Deacon House, LS14 6JD
- Tues 15 November @ Armley Community Hub, LS12 1UQ
- Wed 16 November @ Dewsbury Road Community Hub, LS11 6PF
People were able to drop in and chat to advisors about the range of training options available. Get free advice on adult learning courses including digital skills, apprenticeships, and careers support. Learn practical I.T. skills for help with things such as budgeting, getting on-line and staying connected, encouraging people to improve their digital skills for work and life.
