Organised by Morley Town Deal and Employment and Skills, The Morley Town Deal Jobs fair was held on Thursday 5 October 2023, 10am-3pm at Morley Town Hall’s Alexandra Hall.

A wide range of businesses attended to provide short and long-term job and career opportunities for the residents of Morley. Exhibitors included White Rose shopping centre, Wetherspoons, Leeds United and Appris.

Roles on offer included retail roles, support/ outreach workers, care settings, warehouse, cleaning, security, maintenance and hospitality. There were also careers advisors available offering support with interview techniques, job applications, apprenticeships and careers advice.

Ahead Partnership were also in attendance to promote the Growing Talent Morley programme.

350 people attended and feedback was really positive. There is now the interest from the local community and board members for future jobs fairs in Morley, for an annual event to be held led by Employment and Skills and supported by Morley Towns Deal.
